Now that my preliminary task is complete I started to think about my main task. I wasn't too sure on what music genre I wanted to base my magazine on so as you are able to see from the picture below, I created a spider diagram of all the different genres of music I could think of. The spider diagram helped to visually outline information and acted as a planning tool to ensure I had covered all areas before starting to construct my magazine. I wanted to make sure I was making the correct choice when chosing my genre so that I wouldn't change half way through my project thus wasting time. I created this diagram using www.bubbl.us. This is an online mindmap creator and the finishing product looks much more clearer and professional than a hand drawn copy. It also expanded my technical media skills.
