I took a barcode off of google for my front cover which is shown in the following link: http://www.atissuejournal.com/2010/06/09/barcodes-that-make-you-smile/
As you can see they are not your typical standard barcodes. I came across some unique barcodes on google which made me search for 'American flag barcodes' in the navigation bar I then got a number of options but this was my favourite. I thought using the American flag bar code could be a unique selling point that would help establish my brand image as a new magazine while complying with my American theme.
